Ethics and Society
This course addresses key questions on environmental and social sustainability, safety and health, privacy and integrity as they relate to information systems. Areas to be covered include: designing, managing and aligning IT operations for organizational sustainability. Basic concepts of responsibility, accountability, and liability in IS procurement practices.
Other areas to include: ensuring protection of privacy and integrity in compliance with legislations, regulations and standards.
